Yuchun is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She received her B.S. degree in Information System and Information Management at Beijing Forestry University, China in June 2018 and received her M.S. degree in Data Analytics Engineering at the Northeastern University (NU) in December 2020. She won 2020 John and Katharine Cipolla MS Merit Award.

Yuchun enjoys reading, playing the piano, painting, photography swimming and skiing in her leisure time. She loves hiking and traveling with families and friends.

Xian is currently a Ph.D. student in computer science at the Graduate Center of City University of New York. He spent four wonderful years in the Ocean University of China and received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in June 2016.

During his bachelor and master life, he maintained good academic performance, participating many science and technology competitions. He won the first prize in the 4th National Marine Vehicle Design and Production Competition in China with the design of a bionic whale navigation system for gathering and processing marine drifting debris. He also joined the research team of Jun in Florida International University and participated in research work about erasure code and distributed matrix multiplication.

Xian enjoys traveling, snorkeling and doing crafts in his leisure time. He loves the natural beauties, especially the ocean.
